Day 2 - Theme 351 - Warm
It was extra cold, so I got out my little halogen heater, to warm my cold toes. This heater seems to act as a cat "magnet", and within 10 minutes I had the full 6 pack! They will settle down to sleep, then after 10 mins or so the one furthest away from the fire with get up and clamber over the others, to flop at the front...this continues, so every cat gets an even toasting. I did try to get them all to look at the camera..but Pepsi, the rebel of the bunch, refused to co-operate!

ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic! Pepsi is just doing what a cat does best, which is doing what they want. They may look similar but I imagine their mannerisms and personalities are strikingly different.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I can't get enough of these fabulous cats! They look like they are all in la-la land from the toasty spot they have in front of the heater. So did you have to say "Tuna" in order to get them to look at you?
ReplyDeleteWell of course the one on the bottom of the pile wasn't about to look at the camera....he was staring down the ones laying all over him. I love cats! Thanks for sharing....

ReplyDeleteIts funny because sometimes you think cats of a similar color look a lot alike, but I can see 6 totally different looks and personalities, especially with "the rebel without a cause", LOL. I like the golden colors and look they all have just like fresh toast. Now you just have to butter them up.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! My cats have an elaborate time-sharing arrangement that I am not privy to when it comes to sleeping spots. However, my girl cat often waits until the boy cat is warm and cozy before jumping on him, biting him in the neck, and claiming a pre-warmed spot. She's a stinker! I hope to see more of this six pack in the future, as I am sure you'll get to see my kitties in the near future. This is a great example of "warm"

What a beautiful bunch of red and white felines! And as foot-warmers, they can't be beat! (Mine are all blacks and blues, with one seal point Siamese, and one tortoiseshell for variety, so I seem to have a similar mono or duo chromatic theme going, too!) Great shot of them, and they look so comfy and SMUG.
